Banana bags are specialised UV-stabilised LDPE polythene covers designed to protect banana bunches from insects, pesticides and physical damage during the growth and post-harvest stages. Our banana bags are manufactured from UV-stabilised LDPE that blocks harmful UV radiation while maintaining permeability to allow the fruit to breathe. The bags have perforations for ventilation and are available in blue, white and custom colours. Being agricultural plastic bags with UV resistance built into the film, they offer months of effective fruit protection in open-field conditions.

Covering banana bunches from the bell (flower) stage through to harvest is a proven practice that significantly improves bunch quality, uniformity and marketable yield. Our banana bags are manufactured with UV stabiliser additives that prevent premature degradation in outdoor agricultural conditions, ensuring the bag lasts for the full growth period of 90–120 days.

We supply banana bags in the standard blue LDPE design with ventilation holes, as used across Indian banana cultivation, as well as in custom sizes for different banana varieties. The ventilation holes allow air circulation and moisture escape, preventing fungal growth while maintaining a protective microenvironment around the developing bunch.
